Script Supervisor

 What is the role of the script supervisor in a film production?  What are their responsibilities?

The script supervisor is also known as the "continuity person". The script supervisor writes down notes while the recording is in progress. They'll write notes in between takes, and keep track of all the cameras and keep track of what's seen by each camera. They'll usually be sitting right next to the director, and writing down everything the director will comment on, and answer director's questions.
