Coverage

 In your own words explain what coverage is.  Why is it so important when you are shooting?

Coverage is the change in what's on the screen. You need shots of different things, and the actors from different angles. This is important to add more depth to your scene. You need to make sure that you shoot the same action from different points of view to make sure that it's easier to edit in post, and your editor has a lot of options.
